Description
Husqvarna Viking #1+ Sewing & Embroidery Machine No Reserve!!! You are bidding on a complete package of machine, extra books, extra accessories, and more. #1+ The #1+ was the top of the line machine from 1994 to 1999. It was the very first sewing and embroidery machine for Viking. The embroidery unit can be taken off and on completely to help make the machine easier to transport. This machine has had one owner and has just been serviced completely with all the proper adjustments made. When the #1+ was the top of the line, it retailed for $3000. You can get a great machine for a fraction of the price and still enjoy the top of the line features. Some of the features on this machine include: Instant and continuous reverse (hold down on the button for instant reverse or for continuous reverse simple depress the button twice and the machine will sew backwards allowing both hands on your project until you are ready to sew forward again by pressing the button once) Stop function (ends at the last stitch of the pattern you have selected taking the guess work out of your sewing) Needle stop up or down (the machine always stops with the needle up and completely through the stitch, but when you activate the needle stop down, it will always stop with the needle in the fabric, halfway through the stitches and ready for pivoting or repositioning your hands) 3 levels of speed control (for more control when sewing--the machine automatically lowers the speed on dense stitches to help you get the best stitch formation and stitch quality) Stitch Length (adjustable up to 6.0 mm long which is approximately 1/4") Stitch Width (adjustable up to 6.0 mm wide which is approximately 1/4") 25 needle positions (when in a straight stitch, you can adjust your stitch width and mirror image to access 12 positions on the left and 12 positions on the right of the needle and your center needle position--great for hemming, edgestitching and more) Twin Needle Safety (prevents "crashing" your expensive twin needle when doing heirloom or decorative techniques) Programming capabilities (with 9 memory spaces) Elongation + or - (allows you to take any satin type stitch and make it longer or shorter without making any change to the density of the stitch Side to Side Mirror Image (allows for stitches to be flipped for more possibilities) End to End Mirror Image (allows for stitches to be flipped for more possibilities) Low bobbin indicator (warns you before you run out of thread so that you can change your bobbin without a break in your stitching) Automatic Thread Tension (the machine will automatically adjust the needle tension depending upon the stitch and fabric you have selected) Sewing Advisor (select the type of fabric you are going to be sewing and the machine will automatically set the length, width, tension, and speed best suited for that type of fabric and tell you what size of needle, which presser foot, how to set the presser foot pressure for that stitch OR choose the fabric and technique from the sewing advisor and the machine will not only do what was mentioned before, but will choose the best stitch from the stitches you have available on the machine for that combination--sew like an expert with the help of the sewing advisor--a Husqvarna Viking exclusive you will never be able to live without again!) Snap On Presser Feet (In 1965, Viking introduced the world's first snap on presser feet has not changed it since--why change a great thing?--if you have owned a Viking in the past or you get another Viking in the future, all the snap on presser feet are interchangeable. You will always be able to get more presser feet and take advantage of the new feet that Viking constantly are developing for specialty techniques. Dual Lights (one light is under the arm of the machine lighting up the bed of the machine and the other light is right above the needle area so that you have an easier time seeing your project. Adjustable Presser Foot Pressure (You can easily turn the dial to put more or less pressure on your fabrics depending upon the type that you are using) LCD display (there are 2 display windows--one that has all the stitch information and the other window displays the stitch with changes showing as they are made.) Self Lubricating (since 1971, you have not needed to lubricate your machine. Since the machine lubricates itself as you are sewing, you don't need to worry about putting stress and strain on the gears and causing the machine to wear out. Although routine maintenance is recommended on all brands of sewing machines, a Viking never need oiled when you take it in for service--be sure to use an authorized dealer.)for Jam proof Hook (Since 1953, Viking has not had to worry about jams--you can sew with no fabric under the foot all day if you want and never create a jam in the bobbin area. What a great way to make sewing less stressful!) And many, many more features..... The machine is complete with the hard case and instructional video, the power cord and foot control as well as a removable accessory tray. The Accessories in the removable tray include: A Foot-for utility stitching and stitches that are not dense Transparent B Foot-for decorative stitching and applique work B Foot-for decorative stitching and applique work C Foot-for manual buttonholes and can be used for optional decorative techniques D Foot-for blindhem techniques E Foot-for applying zippers and stitching close to cords and other thick items H Foot-for sewing on leather & vinyl to help foot to glide and not stick to the fabric J Foot-for overcasting the edges of woven fabrics to prevent raveling R Foot-for embroidery on standard thickness of fabric S Foot-for Omnimotion stitching (machine sews in 8 directions without the embroidery unit) Q Foot-used when embroidering on towels, jackets and other thick items Buttonhole Sensor Foot-for creating consistent buttonholes by telling the machine how long you would like your buttonhole to be--perfect every time!
